Building Control has changed.
The Building Safety Act will help to ensure consistency across the building control profession and drive-up standards.
The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) will independently oversee building control bodies (BCBs) and their professionals.
The new approach to building control oversight will apply to BCBs in:

registered building control approvers (RBCAs)
It will cover:

the performance of BCBs
-
the competence of the professionals supporting the delivery of building control functions.
The Building Safety Act only applies to England.

Early Advice and an Alternative Service
When it is really needed, comprehensive, clear, concise and a sensible appraisal of the Building Regulations, incorporating the Approved Documents or British Standards / European Codes guidance.
We are an alternative to the local authority. We serve an initial notice and cover plan check, statutory consultations (fire and sewer for example) site inspections and issue a final certificate once the works are complete, certified and compliant.
Technical Workshops
Corporate Approved Inspectors Ltd offer free tailored technical workshops to discuss basic conceptual design strategies on larger projects. Updates on current and proposed changes to Approved Documents, British Standards and similar technical guidance. We are able to offer CPD certificates from technical seminars for professional requirements.
